With the league season drawing to a close, every round of fixtures becomes a big one and this is no different and there is the potential for lots of goals to be scored this weekend. As ever we have run a keen eye over the fixture list to bring you seven top BTTS tips from the Premier League and the Championship.
Saturday 9th April 2016
- West Ham v Arsenal (4/6 with BetVictor) – West Ham will have a lot to thank summer signing Dmitri Payet for come the end of the season and the crafty Frenchman will be a major thorn in the side of the Arsenal defence this weekend. We think that Petr Cech will concede this weekend, but after his side scored four last weekend, they will be confident that they can hit the back of the net themselves.
- Crystal Palace v Norwich City (19/20 with Betfair) – Norwich City have been involved in a number of exciting games this season and we think that this one will be a relatively high scoring affair as the Canaries make the journey to Selhurst Park to face an out of sorts Palace side.
- Aston Villa v Bournemouth (10/11 with Betfred) – Aston Villa have been awful in front of goal this season, but we think that they will hit the back of the net, with Bournemouth boasting a poor defensive record. Over their last two matches, the coasting and complacent Cherries have shipped seven goals and we think both keepers will be kept busy in this one.
- Southampton v Newcastle United (6/5 with Sky Bet) – Southampton will be confident that they can hit the back of the net in this clash given that Newcastle have been poor at the back all season. However, the Magpies have some good players going forward and we think that they will be able score at least once on the south coast.
- Watford v Everton (10/11 with Betfred) – Both of these sides will have one eye on the FA Cup semi finals and with nothing to play for in the league, this is a bit of a dead rubber. However, it could well be an exciting game given both sides’ defensive deficiencies and with some quality attackers taking to the field, BTTS looks good here.
- Fulham v Cardiff City (4/6 with Bet365) – Fulham have been up and down all season, but one thing has remained constant: goals. They are amongst the highest scorers in the division, but their defence has been atrocious and we think that there will be goals aplenty at Craven Cottage as Cardiff look to continue their good form.

- Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United (19/20 with Bet365) – Spurs are the top scorers in the division and they will hope to continue their impressive form in front of goal this weekend. However, they will have to be alert at the back with United looking much more threatening going forwards lately.
