The Premier League is back, with just six weeks to go until the end of the campaign. We’re hitting the business end of the competition, where sides spark in to form, or tail off with nothing to play for. We have some huge games lined up this weekend, with Saturday being bookended with North West derbies. Can Liverpool follow up their midweek Champions League clash by claiming all three points against rivals Everton? On top of that, there’s also quite a big clash at the Etihad come Saturday evening – you may have heard about it?!
Man City host United this weekend, with the Citizens a victory away from sealing the league title. Pep Guardiola’s side are aiming to wrap up their business domestically, as they look to concentrate on the Champions League. Aside from that game there’s a London derby on Super Sunday, while we also have our eye on a few interesting 3pm games, which should produce goals aplenty. Ahead of this weekend’s action, we’ve looked through all of the Premier League matches and we’ve picked out the best options for a both teams to score accumulator. Saturday 7th April 2018
- Everton v Liverpool (3/4 with Bet365) – Liverpool are favourites for this trip, but Everton are coming in having scored in their last five at home. With Liverpool conceding 71% of their goals away, but hitting 2.31 goals per game on the road, we’re backing both teams to score in this clash.
- Bournemouth v Crystal Palace (3/4 with Betfair) – Bournemouth are set for another season in the top flight, and they’re pushing for the top half. However, they’ve still had massive issues at the back. They’ve seen BTTS in their last seven at home and the Cherries have conceded in 10 straight home matches, too.
- Watford v Burnley (Evens with Betfred) – After a poor run, Burnley have now scored in six of their last seven. The Clarets have won their last three, and they face a leaky Watford defence. The hosts have scored in their last 11 home matches, but they’ve conceded in their last five at home to Burnley.
- Man City v Man United (7/10 with Ladbrokes) – With this big game coming days after City’s clash with Liverpool, United should find an opening in this crucial battle. However, the leaders have scored 3.4 goals per game at their own ground in the league this term, so we’re backing BTTS in the weekend’s biggest showdown.

- Chelsea v West Ham (11/10 with Coral) – Problems are mounting for Chelsea, to the extent that West Ham will be targeting a result in this trip to Stamford Bridge. We should at least see some goals in this one, with the visitors seeing both teams score in six straight away, having found the net in their last eight away trips in total.
