This weekend can’t arrive soon enough for football fans across the country although there will be particular excitement on the south coast as Bournemouth prepare to play in their first ever Premier League campaign.

Saturday 8th August 2015
- Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur (20/23 with BetVictor) – This game looks like it has goals written all over it with both sides much better going forwards than they are at the back. Two of the last three meetings between these two at Old Trafford have seen both teams score and we’d back both keepers to concede in this one.
- Brentford v Ipswich Town (4/5 with BetVictor) – Both of these sides were losing play-off semi-finalists and both of them have plenty of goals in their respective sides. In Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick, the Tractor Boys have one of the best strike partnerships in the division and Brentford are no mugs going forwards either.
- Juventus v Lazio (evens with Betfred) – Having been beaten by the Old Lady in the Coppa Italia final, Lazio will be out to get revenge in the Italian Super Cup. The last meeting between these two ended 1-1 and with both sides looking good in pre-season, we fancy there to be goals in this match.
- Bournemouth v Aston Villa (Evens with Coral) – Newly promoted Bournemouth met Aston Villa back in January when they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat in the FA Cup and we’d back BTTS once again here. Tim Sherwood’s side are very attack-minded and that may well mean that there is space to exploit for Callum Wilson. However, at the other end, the Cherries look slow and Villa will get opportunities.
- Norwich v Crystal Palace (10/11 with Coral) – We’re backing the feel-good factor around Norwich to boost the Canaries on Saturday, but their lack of quality at the back will mean that Palace will get plenty of opportunities which we’d back their attackers to put away. Last season the Canaries had plenty of goal scorers and they will need to hope that continues if they are to maintain their top flight status.

- Stoke City v Liverpool (10/11 with Coral) – Liverpool have been presented with an immediate chance to redeem themselves after last season’s final day drubbing at the hands of the Potters. New boys Roberto Firmino and Christian Benteke should add some genuine goalscoring ability in attack, however, the Reds still don’t look great at the back and this won’t be an easy assignment for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Monday 10th August 2015
- West Bromwich Albion v Manchester City (9/10 with Ladbrokes) – The Baggies are a good side at home, as shown by their victory over Chelsea towards the end of last season and with City looking shaky at times during this season we’d fancy them to grab a goal. However, City are favourites for a reason and with Sergio Aguero up top, you’d always fancy them to score.
