International football can often be seen as a fairly dull affair compared to the hustle and bustle of the Premier League, so why not spice it up with a both teams to score accumulator?
Goals are often at a premium in international football so we’ve scoured the fixture lists to find seven matches which we feel will give you plenty of value for money.
Thursday 8th October
- Northern Ireland v Greece (6/4 with Coral) – Northern Ireland have been in fine form this campaign, which is in stark contrast to Greece who have been awful. However, whilst Northern Ireland will be expecting to score, Michael O’Neill’s side have shipped a few goals of late and with all the pressure they’re under, we think they may crumble at the back.
- Republic of Ireland v Germany (4/5 with Ladbrokes) – Ireland will look to go and attack a German side who have looked unsure of themselves recently and at a packed Aviva Stadium, we’d fancy Ireland to find the back of the net. They come up against a Germany side containing the in-form Thomas Muller and whilst they’ve been conceding goals, they’ve also been scoring.
- Scotland v Poland (evens with BetVictor) Gordon Strachan has got his side playing some great stuff and they have scored plenty of goals at Hampden Park during qualification. They’re not the sharpest at the back, but with the wind in their sails they can be a real delight going forwards. Expect goals in this one.
- Hungary v Faroe Islands (13/8 with Sky Bet) – The Faroes have been in decent nick by their own low standards during qualifying and they have earned plenty of impressive results and whilst they won’t be expecting to get anything out of this, they are more than capable of scoring. This Hungarian side are fairly ordinary, but even they should be able to get a few goals against Lars Lagerback’s men.

- Slovakia v Belarus (13/10 with Coral) – Belarus are fast improving and whilst they may not make next year’s finals, they certainly will make life difficult for Slovakia and the former Soviet nation have scored quite a few of late. That said, Slovakia have been really impressive and as the second highest scorers in the group, they are more than likely to find the back of the net.
Sunday 10th October 2015
- Czech Republic v Turkey (5/6 with BetVictor) – These two sides have both been performing well of late and they have both seen plenty of goals scored in their recent matches. With an automatic qualifying slot at stake we think both will really go for it in this one.
- Kazakhstan v Holland (9/5 with BetVictor) – Holland have had a catastrophic campaign and whilst they should be able to score against Kazakhstan, they are a side bereft of confidence. They look a completely different outfit to the one that reached the semi finals of the World Cup and we’re backing the central Asian side to take advantage – and at huge odds too.
