This weekend sees the reverse fixtures from the weekend of the 7th November played in the Premier League and five of our matches from this set of both teams to score tips were featured in our tips for that weekend. A lot has changed since then however and you can read on to find out why we have made our selections.
Saturday 5th March 2016
- Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal (13/20 with Sky Bet) – This is a massive north London derby and these two sides have scored 92 goals between them so far this season and we think that there could be plenty of goals this weekend. Both sides scored when the pair met earlier in the season and we’d back them to do so again.
- Chelsea v Stoke City (6/5 with Sky Bet) – Both sides have scored in both of the meetings between these two this season and we think that there will be goals in this one too. Though Chelsea have been scoring much more frequently, they have been struggling for clean sheets and BTTS look very tempting at odds of 6/5 with Sky Bet.
- Burnley v Blackburn Rovers (11/10 with Coral) – El Lanclasico, as it is sometimes dubbed in that part of the world, takes place once again this weekend and we think that there will be plenty of goals when these two rivals go head to head. It will definitely be a tight game, but there should be goals nonetheless.
- Everton v West Ham (8/11 with Betfred) – These two sides have been in good nick lately and there should be goals when the pair meet at Goodison Park. They are the best attacking sides outside of the top four based on goals scored and we think that BTTS is a sensible bet and one which should bring in a nice profit.
- Newcastle United v Bournemouth (7/10 with Bet365) – Newcastle United and Bournemouth have both been struggling for form lately and whilst this match could go either way, we’re pretty confident that both sides will be picking the ball out of the back of the net this weekend. A win could take the Magpies out of the bottom three and would be a big confidence boost for them.
- Watford v Leicester City (8/11 with Sky Bet) – Watford may well look to shut up shop against Leicester on Saturday evening, but the Foxes have enough about them to get some goals against this Watford side. At the other end however, Leicester may be less successful and it is only a matter of time before Odion Ighalo starts scoring again.
Sunday 6th March 2016
- Crystal Palace v Liverpool (evens with Betfair) – This fixture sends a shiver down Liverpool fans’ spine and whilst this match is unlikely to replicate that thrilling 3-3 draw, there still could be plenty of goals in this one as these two go head to head. Four out of Palace’s last five games have seen BTTS and we reckon that this will be another game featuring the Eagles which doesn’t see a clean sheet.
