This week sees another round of midweek Premier League games and with all of our teams making it through to the next round of the Europa League, the games are mounting up for some of the leading sides.
There are also two derbies to look out for this week and both of them feature in our seven both teams to score betting tips for the midweek action.
Tuesday 1st March 2016
- Sunderland v Crystal Palace (19/20 with Coral) – Sunderland will be expecting to score against a Palace side who are really struggling in the league, however, at the other end they may well concede with the London outfit starting to score again.
- Leicester City v West Bromwich Albion (23/20 with Coral) – Leicester City have tightened up at the back since the beginning of the season but we think that they will come unstuck in this match at the King Power Stadium. We fully expect them to score, but the pressure may well get to the Foxes in this clash.
- Norwich City v Chelsea (19/20 with Bet365) – Norwich recently scored four in a game at Carrow Road against Liverpool, however, they did also concede five in that game and we think that both sides will score in this clash in East Anglia. Chelsea have plenty of goals in them but, as we said, Norwich have a knack of finding the back of the net at home.
- Bournemouth v Southampton (10/11 with Bet365) – Tuesday’s televised game sees Bournemouth take on Southampton and there should be plenty of goals in this one. Southampton have been good at the back lately but we think that the home side will be bang up for this one with BTTS a good bet.
Wednesday 2nd March 2016
- Liverpool v Manchester City (8/11 with Betfred) – Games between these two sides nearly always produce goals and we think that this one will be no different. In Sergio Aguero and Daniel Sturridge, both sides have genuinely top class strikers in their ranks and they could well put on a show for us this Wednesday.
- West Ham v Tottenham Hotspur (4/5 with Betfred) – Another day and another derby in the south of England as Spurs make the short trip across London to face West Ham. The home side have been scoring quite a few lately, but we can’t see them keeping out a Tottenham side who have plenty of goals in them.
- Manchester United v Watford (23/20 with Coral) – Louis van Gaal will have been delighted to see his side batter Midtjylland in the Europa League and it has brought the Dutchman some vital breathing space. His side scored five in that game and if they play in a similar way then they should be able to get themselves a goal or two in this game. However, they have still been conceding goals and we think that Watford could trouble this United defence.
