Last week saw two wins and two draws for the English sides in the Champions League and they look as if they all might qualify for the knockout stages after what was a very shaky start.
This week sees a fine selection of exciting looking matches played and there should be plenty of goals, especially at the Stadio Olimpico where Bayer Leverkusen face Roma, with their last meeting yielding eight goals.
Tuesday 3rd November
- Sevilla v Manchester City (4/7 with Bet365) – Unai Emery’s side have a brilliant record at home and whilst we can’t see them keeping out a Manchester City outfit who have been banging them in of late, they are more than likely to score. Sevilla are a very good team on their day and if they play well then they could turn City over at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
- Manchester United v CSKA Moscow (39/40 with BetVictor) – CSKA saw both teams score on their last visit to Manchester as they beat City and having drawn 1-1 a few weeks back, we think there’ll be goals in this one. United should be scoring in this clash but we can’t see them keeping a clean sheet against Leonid Slutsky’s men.
- Real Madrid v Paris St Germain (3/4 with BetVictor) – Two weeks ago these sides drew 0-0 but we would be very surprised if there was a clean sheet in this game at the Bernabeu. Real will be expected to come out and attack and that may well leave gaps for PSG to exploit with BTTS likely.
- PSV Eindhoven v Wolfsburg (4/7 with Ladbrokes) – PSV have seen both sides score in five out of their last six matches in all competitions and we think that there will be goals in this clash. Wolfsburg have enough about them to find the back of the net but we’d be surprised if they kept a clean sheet in what should be a raucous Phillips Stadion.
- Shakhtar Donetsk v Malmo (10/11 with Betfair) – Malmo were comfortable winners when these sides met last but we think that Shakhtar will be the winners when the two meet on Tuesday. Both teams look likely to score however with Malmo pretty handy going forwards.
- Borussia Monchengladbach v Juventus (19/20 with Betfair) – Juve have saved their best performances for Europe so far but we think they may struggle against Borussia Monchengladbach. The Foals have won five games on the spin in the Bundesliga and whilst the Old Lady may get a goal, it should be BMG who run out winners in this clash.

- AS Roma v Bayer Leverkusen (4/7 with Bet365) – Eight goals split evenly is a very rare occurrence in football and whilst we can’t see either side scoring four in this clash, it should be a very entertaining game of football between two attack minded sides.
