There are plenty of matches to get your teeth into this weekend as international football returns to our screens. England will be hoping that Big Sam can get his reign off to a winning start as the Three Lions travel to Slovakia. Meanwhile there is plenty of domestic action taking place in England’s lower divisions and we have trawled the fixtures to bring you some top BTTS tips.

- Italy Under 21 v Serbia Under 21 (4/5 with Betfred) – The Italians are often strong in youth football and this side is no different with senior capped players such as Marco Benassi in the squad. You’d fancy the Italians to score at home, but the Serbians are no mugs having recently lifted the under 20 World Cup.

- Torquay United v Lincoln City (5/6 with Betfred) – The televised game from the conference this weekend sees Torquay United play host to Lincoln City and it should be a cracker. The Devonshire side have scored nine goals in their last three matches whilst both of Lincoln’s previous two matches saw both sides score.
- Millwall v Bradford City (20/23 with BetVictor) – Two of the promotion favourites lock horns in League 1 on Saturday and it promises to be an entertaining game in South London. The pair have a history of producing entertaining matches and with Millwall scoring 11 and conceding nine already this season, this promises to be another thrilling instalment.
- Notts County v Grimsby Town (4/6 with Bet365) – Grimsby secured their promotion to League 1 via the play-offs and so far they have made a good start to life in League 1. Their games have also been good value to watch as well with plenty of goals being scored at either end so far this term.
Sunday 4th September 2016
- Slovakia v England (11/10 with Bet365) – Both sides have scored in seven of England’s last nine matches and we think that both keepers will be kept busy in this affair. The Three Lions defence does look slightly suspect, but going forwards they have plenty to shout about and it should be a decent game on Sunday.
- Ukraine v Iceland (6/5 with Betfair) – Everyone’s favourite minnows Iceland get their World Cup campaign underway with a trip to Ukraine. The Scandinavian outfit scored plenty last qualifying campaign but they also conceded quite a few with goalkeeper Hannes Þór Halldórsson never really convincing.
Monday 5th September 2016
- Croatia v Turkey (13/10 with Betfair) – Croatia beat Turkey 1-0 when the pair met at the Euros but we think that there will be a fair few more goals than that in this clash. The Turkish have a fairly decent away record and it wouldn’t surprise us if they found the back of the net, but they will have a very hard job keeping a classy Croatia side quiet.
