It is back to the grind this weekend after the international break. We are rapidly approaching the end of the season and each point is becoming increasingly important so we should be expecting some real end to end excitement spread over the Premier League and Championship.
Teams at the top and bottom of the tables are getting increasingly desperate for points and we can make some profit from the madness with the below both teams to score betting tips.
Saturday 2nd April 2016
- Stoke v Swansea (11/10 with Sky Bet) – Stoke fans are very happy with the direction that their team is going under mark Hughes but there remains definite room for improvement. They are capable of playing some brilliant attacking football in patches but their lack of consistency is certainly something to work on. As for Swansea, they too are a very good side when at their best and should be able to find the back of the net at the Britannia; whether they can stop Stoke from doing likewise remains to be seen.
- Brighton v Burnley (11/10 with BetVictor) – When number one and two in the Championship face off at the Amex Stadium there could well be fireworks. Brighton are four points off the pace set by the Clarets and need to get a win but they’ll have their work cut out. These are the two top goalscorers in the division and the goals should flow.
- Arsenal v Watford (evens with Bet365) – Arsenal will be out for revenge when they host Watford at the Emirates. It was the Hornets who stopped the Gunners’ attempts to win the FA Cup for the third time on the spin and they will fancy their chances of another impressive win. Evens looks like a very big price for both teams to score in this pretty well matched fixture.
- Norwich v Newcastle (10/11 with Coral) – It is another huge match at the bottom of the table for Rafa Benitez and his Newcastle side. Having managed to claw back a point against Sunderland, the Magpies will be desperate for all three of them against Norwich at Carrow Road. The Canaries have only kept four clean sheets at home all season and they’ll struggle to make that five against Newcastle’s talented attacking players but should be able to score themselves.
- Liverpool v Tottenham (8/11 with Betfred) – This should be one of the best matches of the entire weekend. Spurs are fighting to keep their title challenge on track but face a very difficult match against Liverpool who have blown away opponents when at their best this season. We should be expecting goals galore early on Saturday evening.

- Leicester v Southampton (17/20 with BetVictor) – Leicester keep trundling on ever closer to the Premier League title but they will once again need to be towards the top of their game to have any chance of picking up all three points against Southampton. The Saints are playing well at the moment but well enough to stop Mahrez and Vardy? Doubtful.
