All eyes will be on Anfield and the Etihad Stadium as the second legs of the League Cup semi-finals take place in midweek, but away from that there are plenty of other games taking place and we’ve scanned through the Football League fixture list to bring you some top BTTS tips to help bolster your finances.
Tuesday 26th January 2016
- Peterborough United v Burton Albion (4/6 with Sky Bet) – The Posh have been banging in the goals lately and even though they have sold top scorer Conor Washington, they have bought well with Shaquille Coulthirst and Adil Nabi joining them. Yet whilst they have been scoring a lot, we can’t see them keeping a clean sheet against the league leaders.
- Nottingham Forest v Queens Park Rangers (19/20 with Coral) – Forest and QPR have both still got an outside chance of making the play-offs, yet if they are to make the top six they could both do with stringing a run of results together. When these two meet there are often plenty of goals and we don’t think that this clash will be any different, so back BTTS for a tidy profit.
- Brentford v Leeds United (9/10 with BetVictor) – Brentford and Leeds have both been fairly inconsistent this season and this is a match which could go either way. The Whites should have their top scorer Chris Wood back in action, whilst the home side will be looking to get back to winning ways at Griffin Park.
- Morecambe v Mansfield Town (8/11 with Bet365) – Games involving Morecambe have been a good watch this season with 88 goals being scored in their games in total. They welcome fellow mid table side Mansfield to the North West coast and we think there could well be plenty of goals on the seaside.
- Doncaster Rovers v Port Vale (4/6 with BetVictor) – Both of these sides have been on a good run of form lately and there is only one point between them in League One so it should be a hotly contested affair. Donny have seen plenty of their recent games finish with both sides hitting the back of the net and we can’t see their being a clean sheet in this one.
- Blackpool v Sheffield United (8/11 with Coral) – After scoring five goals the other weekend, Blackpool will be expecting their side to score against a Sheffield United who score a lot of goals but also concede more than their fair share. The Blades, who are on the outside of the play off places will have this game marked down as a probable three points and we like the look of BTTS at Bloomfield Road.

- Manchester City v Everton (4/6 with Bet365) – These two sides both boast top quality strikers in Sergio Aguero and Romelu Lukaku but they also have plenty of other players capable of hitting the back of the net and if there was a league table for goals scored, these two would be pretty high up. Backing BTTS looks a sure way to profit.
