The FA Cup often seems outdated in the fact that it is settled using replays rather than extra time and penalties but nevertheless it does offer lower league sides a second bite at the cherry and it will bring in some much needed revenue for those clubs.
One example of that is Eastleigh who travel to the Macron Stadium and that game is just one of seven we have picked for our BTTS tips this week.

- Newport County v Blackburn Rovers (evens with Bet365) – Newport and Blackburn didn’t get to play the other weekend due to a waterlogged pitch and the pitch at Rodney Parade is unlikely to be great, which could help the League Two side. Rovers have struggled on their travels of late but they should still be able to score against a managerless Newport County.

- MK Dons v Northampton (4/6 with Betfred) – MK Dons were battered 5-0 by Burnley at Stadium MK a few weeks ago and we’d back Northampton to get amongst the goals on Tuesday. That said, the Cobblers have also been conceding a few lately and we wouldn’t be too surprised if there were a few goals when these two meet again.
- Yeovil Town v Carlisle United (8/13 with Ladbrokes) – This game was another which finished 2-2 and whilst it will be a long trip for Carlisle fans, it should be an exciting affair and the bookies seem to agree with us as the best odds on BTTS are only available at 8/13 with Ladbrokes.
- Bolton Wanderers v Eastleigh (8/11 with Bet365) – Eastleigh will have been disappointed that they weren’t able to hold on to beat Bolton at the Silverlake Stadium but they should still get a decent payout as they make the trip north. The non-league outfit will be doing their utmost to reach the next round given that the winner has been drawn to play against Leeds United and this should be a good game at the Macron.
- Bristol City v West Bromwich Albion (4/5 with Sky Bet) – Bristol City and West Brom drew 2-2 when they met the other week and we think that the Championship side could cause some problems as they face a Baggies side who have been involved in some high scoring games lately, which is unusual for a Tony Pulis side.
- Portsmouth v Ipswich Town (7/10 with BetVictor) – The Tractor Boys have won 15 matches in a row on a Tuesday night and we’d back them to score against Pompey given the form that they have been in yet the south coast outfit are a good side at Fratton Park having scored seven without reply in their last three games there.

- Leicester City v Tottenham Hotspur (4/6 with Ladbrokes) – Finally we’re tipping there to be goals in this all-Premier League clash at the King Power Stadium. Both sides have plenty of gaols in them as shown by their 2-2 draw the other week and even Leicester’s 1-0 win over Spurs in midweek should’ve seen more chances buried.
