This weekend sees all of the top four in action in what should be an enthralling ‘Super Sunday’ and there should be plenty of goals along the way with both of those fixtures featuring in our list of both teams to score betting tips.
We’ve also scanned through the Championship and the best the continent has to offer to bring you seven great BTTS tips for the weekend.
Saturday 13th February 2016
- Sunderland v Manchester United (21/20 with Coral) – Sunderland have been doing well going forwards lately and having come from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Anfield last weekend, we think that they’ll be able to find the net at the Stadium of Light. Yet we’d be surprised if they were able to keep out an increasingly expansive Manchester United.
- Queens Park Rangers v Fulham (8/11 with Bet365) – This west London derby should see plenty of goals with Fulham being involved in some high scoring clashes this season and indeed, games involving the Cottagers have seen the highest amount of goals in the Championship. Get on at decent enough odds.
- Crystal Palace v Watford (evens with Coral) – Crystal Palace have started to find the back of the net lately and we think that they will be able to score in this one with Watford being rather inconsistent of late. However, though Quique Sanchez Flores’ side have been up and down in recent week, they do have goals in them so we’re still plumping for both teams to score in this one.
- Chelsea v Newcastle United (17/20 with BetVictor) – The reverse fixture finished 2-2 earlier in the season and Newcastle were very impressive that day and they were probably unlucky to lose to Joe Mourinho’s side. They have been improving of late and we think that they could well get a result at Stamford Bridge with BTTS likely.
- Valencia v Espanyol (17/20 with Ladbrokes) – If Valencia lose this one then you’d be surprised to see Gary Neville still line up in the dugout for the league game against Granada the following week. Luckily for him, Espanyol have been in worse form than Valencia but with both defences playing pretty poorly of late, we like the look of goals in this La Liga fixture.
Sunday 14th February 2016
- Arsenal v Leicester City (4/5 with Betfair) – Arsenal have been in and out of form lately but they were impressive in their victory over Bournemouth last weekend and we think that they will find the back of the net in this clash against Leicester City having put five past them earlier in the season. However, we can’t see them keeping a clean sheet against the league’s best attack and we wouldn’t be surprised if it ended 3-3.
- Manchester City v Tottenham Hotspur (4/7 with Betfair) – This is another game which should be a cracker and it is a fixture which often yields plenty of goals as one of the league’s best attacks faces up against the division’s meanest defence. Both of these sides have plenty of goals in them and Spurs will certainly be high on confidence given that they beat City 4-1 earlier in the season.
