After the unwelcome distraction that the FA Cup has become in the eyes of the managers of Premier League sides (as well as the fans of any club other than those likely to be left floundering in mid table) the top flight returns in the midweek.

Tuesday 12th January 2016
- Wolverhampton Wanderers v Fulham (11/10 with Coral) – Away from the bright lights of the Premier League there is a mid-table battle from the Championship taking place at Molineux. Both of these clubs are striving to reach the promised land once again, but Fulham’s inability to see out games means they have struggled, but they have seen a whopping 83 goals scored in their games so far this term.
- Rotherham United v Brighton and Hove Albion (10/11 with Coral) – Brighton have lost three of their last four league games but you’d back them to score against a Rotherham side who are amongst the favourites for the drop. That said, the Millers have scored in their last four games and it won’t be an easy game for Chris Hughton’s side.
Wednesday 13th January 2016
- Tottenham Hotspur v Leicester City (4/5 with Ladbrokes) – Spurs have been finding the net regularly at home and we’d back them to do so again against a Leicester side who don’t have the best defensive record. What they do have however, is a lot of goals going forwards and we’re backing them to end their goal drought, with or without Jamie Vardy.
- Stoke City v Norwich City (evens with Betfair) – Norwich have really picked up of late and they have started to find the back of the net and they could well do so again with Stoke being somewhat inconsistent lately. However, Alex Neil’s side will have to be on their guard if they are to keep out Stoke’s highly vaunted front three.
- Manchester City v Everton (4/6 with Sky Bet) – This game has goals written all over it and there could well have been more than three goals scored when the two sides met in the League Cup on Wednesday. The home side have been performing well in front of their own fans, but Everton are rarely held to a clean sheet these days.
- Liverpool v Arsenal (4/6 with Ladbrokes) – Another game which looks likely to produce goals sees Liverpool face Arsenal, with the away side looking to stretch their lead at the top of the table. It certainly won’t be an easy game however, with Liverpool looking to play Daniel Sturridge up front after his most recent injury lay off.
- Southampton v Watford (evens with Betfair) – Both of these sides have been a little up and down lately and whilst we’re not entirely sure about this one, we think BTTS will just about edge it. Saints are a brilliant team on their day, but Watford won’t take any prisoners and this should be an entertaining game.
