The race to Euro 2016 in France is well and truly on and this week our BTTS tips come from the qualifying games taking place from Sunday to Tuesday inclusive. We’ll be back to the Premier League action soon enough but for now here are the international games in which both teams to score looks great value and goals galore are likely.

Sunday 12th October 2014
- Austria v Montenegro (evens with BetVictor) – Two quite evenly matched and somewhat dour sides isn’t normally a recipe for a winning BTTS bet, but we think evens is too big to turn down here. Group G could be the tightest of the qualifying section, with this pair, Sweden and Russia all in the mix, and with both sides likely to feel a win here is essential we could see an open game.
- Estonia v England (27/20 with Ladbrokes) – BTTS is an outsider in this one, but again, at long odds we think it’s a bet worth taking. England’s defence remains a major issue and whilst Estonia aren’t world beaters they are no mugs, having beaten Slovenia. England should win but it won’t be easy and their new, more open style of play could let the hosts get a consolation goal.
- Luxembourg v Spain (10/3 with Coral) – This is a huge outsider but Spain have been so poor of late, and confidence has sunk so low, that we think the minnows might just have what it takes to breach their backline. Luxembourg have scored three goals in their two games thus far and with Spain yet to keep a clean sheet 10/3 looks big.
Sunday 13th October 2014
- Kazakhstan v Czech Republic (11/8 with Ladbrokes) – The Czechs beat Netherlands 2-1 earlier in the campaign and will be fancied to win to nil here but we think the home side, an improving force, might nick a goal. This is a very tough group for them but a point here could set them up for a decent campaign (decent being the avoidance of the wooden spoon!)
- Bosnia-Herzegovina v Belgium (17/20 with BetVictor) – This should be a close encounter and could decide which of these 2014 World Cup finals sides wins Group B. Belgium will feel a win would be decisive and they have the players to go for this one, rather than just sit back. Edin Dzeko and co will hope to bounce back after a loss against Cyprus and they will have enough to get at least a goal in what should be a good game.
- Iceland v Netherlands (5/6 with BetVictor) – Iceland are real overachievers, having almost made the last World Cup despite a population of fewer than 400,000. Group A is a real challenge but after their 3-0 home win over Turkey they won’t fear anyone, especially not the Dutch, who lost 2-1 in the Czech Republic. The visitors should get the win but there have been enough shocks already in this qualifying campaign for us to think the home side will at least give them a scare by getting a goal… or two!
Tuesday 14th October 2014
- Denmark v Portugal (3/4 with Ladbrokes) – Portugal were humiliated last time out, losing 1-0 at home to Albania but with Cristiano Ronaldo back for this one they should at least have goals in them. They remain poor at the back though so odds of 3/4 for BTTS look a real steal here.
- Poland v Scotland (evens with Ladbrokes) – Scotland are flying at the moment after a fine run of great results (prior to their upcoming home game against Georgia) and they will fancy they can get something from this one, having, arguably, deserved at least a point from their trip to Germany. In Steven Fletcher and Steven Naismith they have two confident, aggressive strikers and they will know that if they can take something from the game they will have a great chance of making it to France. Both to score is good value at evens so get in now before Ladbrokes, who are currently out on a limb, cut their odds.
