As the Premier League enters the final straight there is still lots to be decided before the season wraps up on the 24th May. Not least at the bottom of the table where QPR, Burnley, Aston Villa and Hull City all scrapping it out to avoid the drop, and there could still be a couple of surprises along the way with plenty of goals, slip-ups and controversy. Saturday 4th April 2015
- Arsenal v Liverpool (4/6 with Betfair) – Two attack-minded sides with Champions League aspirations face off at the Emirates and it should be a very fine game of football. Both sides are bang in form and in a fixture which regularly produces lots of goals, tipping BTTS is a no brainer.
- Leicester City v West Ham (7/10 with Ladbrokes) – The Hammers rarely keep clean sheets on the road in the Premier League and we fancy BTTS in this game. The Foxes scored three against Spurs before the international break and if Nigel Pearson’s side go for it again they could put a few past a Hammers side who have nothing much to play for.
Sunday 5th April 2015
- Burnley v Tottenham Hotspur (8/11 with Ladbrokes) – Spurs are also fairly leaky away from home and that should give Burnley some heart as they look to escape the drop zone. Highly coveted striker Danny Ings will be looking to put himself in the shop window whilst at the other end his England under-21 team mate Harry Kane will be looking to add to his 27 goal tally.
- Sunderland v Newcastle United (Evens with Sky Bet) – We fancy there to be plenty of goals in this North East derby with both sides being far from solid at the back. Sunderland have had the better of the fixture in recent history and that may well add some spice to what is already quite a fiery game.
Monday 6th April 2015
- Watford v Middlesbrough (4/6 with Bet365) – This should be a very exciting game with both sides scrapping it out to see who can force their way into the automatic promotion slots. Both sides scored when the two met earlier in the season and with Watford boasting the second best attack in the league, we fancy there to be plenty of goals in this one.
- Wolverhampton Wanderers v Leeds United (8/11 with Bet365) The late kick off in the Championship sees two in-form sides go head to head with Leeds only failing to score in three matches since the turn of the year. Whilst Leeds are safe in mid-table, Wolves are still pushing for the play-offs and they could ill afford a slip up. But with Leeds’ good record against the top sides it could be a very close match, and certainly one in which BTTS looks decent value.
- Crystal Palace v Manchester City (4/5 with Bet365) – Palace have conceded plenty at home this season but with City often struggling against the teams lower down in the division, this could be a very tight match in a fixture which the Citizens once won 11-4.
