As the Premier League moves into the crucial month of December, owners get twitchy, transfer plans get drawn up and the table really begins to take shape. All of the teams will be looking to the midweek fixtures to start building some momentum going in to Christmas. However, we don’t mind who wins as long as there’s goals and we have got seven BTTS tips lined up for you.
Tuesday 2nd December 2014
- Burnley v Newcastle (Evens with Bet365) – This will be the first meeting between these two sides in the top division since the 1975/76 season and Newcastle go in to the match as strong favourites. Alan Pardew’s men have strung together an impressive run of results which has seen them climb rapidly up the table. However, in recent weeks Burnley have also looked a different side from the toothless one which began the season and with Danny Ings more than capable of finding the net, BTTS could be a good bet at Turf Moor.
- Leicester City v Liverpool (7/10 with BetVictor) – Liverpool have been in very poor form of late and Leicester will sense that they have a chance of a result going into the match. That said, the Foxes aren’t great either and Liverpool will see this as an expected three points, but after the Reds laboured against Crystal Palace, this could be a tight game at the King Power Stadium.
- Swansea v QPR (17/20 with BetVictor) – With 13 goals scored in the last three meetings between these two sides, goals look likely at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday night. Charlie Austin has been in fine form this season and the former Burnley hitman will be the main goal threat for the Rs. Swansea will look to Gylfi Sigurdsson to supply the ammunition to the strikers and the Icelandic international has been a superb creative force for Garry Monk’s side this season.
- Crystal Palace v Aston Villa (5/6 with Bet365) – We’re tipping there to be goals in this bottom of the table clash. Both teams are level on 12 points, just two points above the relegation zone and a win here would give both sides a bit of breathing space. Palace have not been struggling to score, but their defence has looked rather porous this season and the Villa forwards will be confident of getting a victory. /li>

- Arsenal v Southampton (31/40 with BetVictor) – Southampton have been free scoring so far this season and we fancy them to continue their fine run in front of goal and they will be confident of doing so having already won 2-1 at the Emirates this season. Arsenal are, as always, more attack minded and this could certainly be a high scoring game.
- Chelsea v Tottenham (6/5 with Bet365) – Odds of 6/5 are not to be sniffed at and whilst Chelsea look to be an unstoppable force, Spurs always have a goal in them. Harry Kane has started to hit the back of the net on a regular basis and in Christian Eriksen, they possess an excellent attacking outlet.
- Everton v Hull (37/40 with BetVictor) – Everton’s defence is the worst in the top half, yet they have scored more than anyone outside the top three going into the weekend’s fixtures and we fancy there to be another glut of goals in a match involving the Toffees. The Blues have shipped goals to Burnley and Leicester, and Hull will be confident that they can go and get some goals at Goodison Park.
