Only three games into the new Premier League season and there have already been plenty of shocks and surprises with Manchester City the early pace setters having won all of their matches without conceding a goal.
They might not be the best bet for BTTS but with a full range of Premier League fixtures as well as a full selection from Europe there are plenty of BTTS choices.
Saturday 29th August 2015
- Bournemouth v Leicester City (4/6 with BetVictor) – Eddie Howe’s side played good stuff last year in the Championship and they were exciting last week when they beat West Ham 4-3 at Upton Park and we’d back them to put in a good shift in front of their own fans. However, Leicester have scored in every game they’ve played in so far and they are on a fine run of form, making BTTS look a safe bet here.
- Chelsea v Crystal Palace (21/20 with BetVictor) – The Blues have been shaky at the back this season and we’d back Palace’s speedsters to give Branislav Ivanovic more trouble at Stamford Bridge. However, Jose Mourinho’s side are always a good bet at home and they have enough quality to see off the threat of Alan Pardew’s side.
- Liverpool v West Ham (evens with BetVictor) – Liverpool haven’t been as good at the back as their record suggests and there has been an element of luck to their clean sheets. They face a West Ham side who have scored and conceded plenty and we like the look of BTTS in this one.
- Stoke City v West Bromwich Albion (21/20 with Coral) – Stoke are a swashbuckling side under Mark Hughes and with the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri and Mame Biram Diouf in their side they certainly have goals in them. However, West Brom have looked dangerous in recent weeks and Stoke have conceded in every match so far so both to score certainly looks likely.
- Tottenham Hotspur v Everton (7/10 with Coral) – This game should have plenty of goals in it as two attack-minded sides face off against one another. Mauricio Pochettino’s side are another who have conceded in every match so far this season and with Everton looking good this game could go either way.
Sunday 30th August 2015
- Southampton v Norwich City (10/11 with Betfred) – Southampton could be on the other end of a European hangover when they face Alex Neil’s Norwich side. The Canaries have scored a lot of goals recently and they looked good going forwards the other week yet they don’t look too sharp at the back and the Saints have the capacity to punish them.
- Swansea City v Manchester United (10/11 with Betfair) – Swansea have been impressive under Garry Monk and we’d back them to continue their good form against United at the Liberty Stadium. However LVG’s side must surely start firing and they have the players to take the game to the opposition with Memphis Depay starting to show flashes of why he was such a highly coveted player at PSV.
