This weekend the focus is split between club games, and preparations for the Euros. While it will be headlined by the Champions League final, teams all around Europe are kicking off their friendlies ahead of the tournament in France. That means that a potentially quiet weekend is now stuffed full of fixtures, so there’s plenty going on to keep us entertained.
While your side might not be in the play-off final, you can still have an interest in this weekend’s games. With a both teams to score bet, you’ll be involved in each clash until the full time whistle. With that in mind, we’ve picked out our both teams to score bets across this four day weekend. Given that these are all internationals or finals, there’s a lot of fantastic betting value to take advantage of.
Friday 27th May 2016
- Republic of Ireland v Netherlands (19/20 with Coral) – The Dutch may be improving, but they still aren’t back to their best. They come here with a strong attack, but we can’t see them keeping a clean sheet. The Republic tend to do well at home, and we see that continuing.
- England v Australia (6/5 with Coral) – England are in fine scoring form right now, but Roy Hodgson has big defensive problems. We think they’ll struggle at the back again here, with none of their three available centre-halves in any kind of form.
Saturday 28th May 2016
- Hull v Sheffield Wednesday (21/20 with Betfair) – Hull came close to throwing their semi final advantage away, and their defence isn’t the most reliable. While we think the Tigers will cause damage going forward, we can’t see them getting through this one without conceding.
- Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid (21/20 with Betfair) – Diego Simeone’s side are set up to defend, but they’ll struggle to keep Real’s attack contained. This one could end up lasting longer than the 90, but we’re expecting both to score before the end of normal time.
- Switzerland v Belgium (19/20 with Betfair) – While Belgium are obviously the stronger here, the Swiss are strong at home. We see home advantage getting them on the scoresheet while Belgium are always good for a goal or two.
Sunday 29th May 2016
- Barnsley v Millwall (Evens with Betfair) – These two sides were comfortable winners in the semis, after great attacking displays. Given how strong they both are going forward, evens for BTTS is a great price. Should they keep up their form, we could be in for a fantastic game here.
Monday 30th May 2016
- AFC Wimbledon v Plymouth (Evens with Betfair) – AFC Wimbledon conceded more goals than anyone else in League Two’s play-offs. They conceded another two in their second leg on their way here. They’ve got enough talent up front to make up for conceding, which is something we see happening on Monday.
