This week sees teams across Europe step up their preparations for Euro 2016 and there are some cracking ties taking place that we can get our betting claws into.
All of the home nations are in action with Wales’ game against Northern Ireland looking particularly tasty. As always, we’ve run our keen eye over the fixture list to bring you seven top both teams to score betting tips.
Thursday 24th March 2016
- Denmark v Iceland (23/20 with Coral) – We kick off with a Scandinavian derby and it should be a good game at Parken. The home side didn’t make it through to the Euros, but they are still a handy side and we’d back them to score against an Iceland side who are leaky at the back.
- Czech Republic v Scotland (21/20 with Coral) – The Czech Republic have been involved in a number of high scoring games lately and so too have Scotland, which should mean that this game is an entertaining affair. The visitors have picked a number of debutants and they will be looking to prove themselves ahead of the next qualification cycle.
- Italy v Spain (evens with BetVictor) – Thursday’s glamour tie sees Italy and Spain battle it out and we think that it will be a good game. The visitors have been on a great run of form, and though Italy are a tough nut to crack at home we think that there will be plenty of goals in this game.
Friday 25th March 2016
- Republic of Ireland v Switzerland (20/21 with BetVictor) – Ireland have qualified for back to back European Championships and we think that they have enough about them to score against Switzerland at the Aviva Stadium. However, the Swiss have a number of handy attacking players including Xherdan Shaqiri and we can see both keepers picking the ball out of the back of the net in this one.
- Holland v France (evens with Betfair) – Holland will be looking to show that they can still mix it with the big boys having failed to qualify for the Euros and they do have plenty of goals in them. At the other end however, they will be hard pushed to keep a clean sheet with the way France have been playing lately.
Saturday 26th March 2016
- Austria v Albania (5/4 with Sky Bet) – Albania were shock qualifiers for the Euros in the summer and we think that they may well nick a goal in this one. However, they are facing an Austria side who were excellent in qualification and they have a very settled side.
- Germany v England (23/20 with Coral) – 1966, 1990 and 2001. All are instantly memorable matches involving England and Germany and whilst this game may not quite live up to those three it should still be a good game. The visitors come into the game in good form, whilst Germany will be looking to improve on their recent performances.
