The World Cup is starting to get very interesting with teams sealing qualification and others – sadly including England – being eliminated. This World Cup has been something of a goalfest thus far and long may it continue as us both teams to score betting fans are making a killing! - Australia v Spain (31/40 with BetVictor) – Australia have been plucky and fearless at this World Cup, giving both Netherlands and Chile a real scare before ultimately losing, but both teams scored in each of those games. Spain have conceded seven goals in their two games and we really like the look of both teams to score here at very nice odds of 31/40 with BetVictor.
- Netherlands v Chile (13/20 with BetVictor) – Odds of 13/20 for BTTS are short but they are good value here between two sides who could yet go all the way. Both are exceptionally bold in attack, having scored 13 goals between them thus far and even though the Dutch are without talisman Robin van Persie we fancy both to score here, with Arjen Robben the key man for Louis van Gaal.
- Croatia v Mexico (10/11 with Coral) – Odds just shy of evens look very tempting for both to score in a game that gives both sides a chance to top the group or, more realistically, qualify second behind Brazil. Croatia have scored five goals thus far and with Mario Mandzukic in the side we fancy they will have joy against Mexico’s admittedly strong defence.

- Costa Rica v England (8/11 with Bet365) – England are out of the World Cup and with nothing to play for we expect a performance with a little more verve and freedom. They have lost both games 2-1 and we could see a repeat of that here against a very energetic Costa Rica team, the tournament’s surprise package with their two fine wins thus far.
- Italy v Uruguay (4/5 with BetVictor) – These sides are effectively playing off for a place in the next round and whilst a draw would see Italy through on goal difference we fancy they will struggle against a Luis Suarez-inspired Uruguay. We fancy Suarez and co to get the result but Uruguay’s defence is average and so both teams to score looks a very fine bet here.
- Greece v Ivory Coast (19/20 with Coral) – Greece have offered precious little going forward in this tournament and are yet to score but they have to win here and we think they will go for it, with little expected of them and nothing to lose. Given both have scored in both of Ivory Coast’s games – both finished 2-1, with one win and one loss – backing BTTS once more here makes sense at odds just a fraction shy of even money with Coral.
