The Christmas period is often quoted as one of the most important periods in the footballing calendar and there should be plenty of exciting matches for us all to enjoy.
With a full football calendar from across the country, we have run our eyes over the fixture list in both England and Scotland to bring you seven top both teams to score tips which will hopefully give you a little pre-Christmas boost.

- Arsenal v Liverpool (1/2 with Betfair) – The game of the weekend (on paper at least) looks to be Liverpool’s trip top face Arsenal and it should be a cracking game of football between two teams blessed with quality attacking options. Liverpool have been averaging four goals a goal on the road lately and both keepers will be kept busy in this one.

- Kilmarnock v Rangers (4/6 with Bet365) – Kilmarnock face Rangers in the televised early kick off from north of the border and it should be an entertaining clash. The Rugby Park side have seen both sides score in four of their last five Scottish Premiership matches. Rangers meanwhile suffered a 3-1 reverse against St Johnstone last weekend and the goals could certainly flow in East Ayrshire.
- Celtic v Aberdeen (Evens with Betfred) – One of the biggest games of the season takes place in Scotland as Celtic look to avenge their shock defeat against Hearts last weekend. Having watched the Bhoys concede four, Aberdeen will travel to Parkhead in high spirits, but we can’t see them keeping Brendan Rodgers’ side out.
- Leeds United v Hull City (5/6 with Bet365) – Hull City look to have improved a little under Nigel Adkins and they may well give Leeds United a run for their money in this Yorkshire derby. Both teams have plenty of goals in them and both teams to score is a tempting price at Elland Road.
- QPR v Bristol City (4/6 with Coral) – Bristol City have seen their last five matches in the league end without a clean sheet and we are backing BTTS in this clash in West London. The Robins are in excellent form, but they will have fatigue to deal with having faced Manchester United during the week.
- Leicester City v Manchester United (10/11 with Betfair) – Manchester United once lost 5-3 at the King Power Stadium and whilst we can’t see there being that many goals, both sides should be able to hit the back of the net. United looked leaky last weekend against West Brom whilst Leicester certainly have goals in them.
- Burnley v Tottenham Hotspur (11/10 with Betfred) – Burnley don’t score loads of goals, but when they do, it is usually at Turf Moor. They have been impressive this season and with Spurs shipping four goals last weekend, they may think they stand a chance of grabbing a goal. Both teams scored when the pair met earlier in the season.
