Only two weeks into the new Premier League season and there has already been some shocks as Chelsea languish in the bottom half of the table with only one point while Leicester are flying high with maximum points.
There is another exciting round of fixtures on the horizon whilst La Liga also gets underway. There have already been plenty of goals as well and we’ve picked out seven great BTTS tips for you from the best of the weekend’s action.
Saturday 22nd August 2015
- Crystal Palace v Aston Villa (Evens with Coral) – Palace often concede at home and their defence looked shaky when threatened with pace last weekend against Arsenal. Villa could therefore get at the Eagles on Saturday if they go into the game with a positive frame of mind. However, Palace are a tidy side going forwards and they always look as though they have goals in them.
- Norwich City v Stoke City (19/20 with Coral) – Norwich’s defence is their major weakness and we think that Stoke should have more than enough about them to grab a goal or two. Having said that, buoyed by their 3-1 win over Sunderland and a bouncing Carrow Road, the Canaries will pose a goal threat themselves.
- Leicester City v Tottenham Hotspur (13/20 with BetVictor) – Leicester have been on such a fine run of form that it is hard to see them not scoring against Spurs. Pochettino’s side themselves aren’t the best at the back but they have goals across the team and it we’d be surprised if Leicester could keep them at bay.

- Watford v Southampton (10/11 with Betfred) – Watford knocked in plenty of goals last year at Vicarage Road and although they drew a blank against West Brom last weekend they had more than enough chances to score. They will get chances aplenty against a weary Southampton side but they aren’t the sharpest at the back, so BTTS looks the right call.
- Everton v Manchester City (13/20 with BetVictor) – This fixture has seen nine goals scored in the last two meetings at Goodison Park and we very much like the look of BTTS in this match. The Toffees have looked good in attack for much of 2015, whilst City have already found the net six times in two matches.
- West Bromwich Albion v Chelsea (21/20 with BetVictor) – Chelsea have conceded five goals in their two league matches this season and they look uncharacteristically disorganised at the back, something Jose Mourinho will be keen to put right. However, the Blues have enough ability in their side to carve open the Baggies at a ground where they were beaten 3-1 last season.

- Arsenal v Liverpool (4/6 with BetVictor) – Out of all the matches this weekend, this looks the most intriguing and it looks like the one which could see the most goals. Liverpool’s defence has yet to be tested fully and with both of these sides geared towards attacking football there should be plenty of goals for fans to savour.
