This week sees plenty of footballing action as the Championship sides lock horns ahead of the Christmas fixture frenzy and there are televised games form the Football League on every day this week.
There are also games taking place in the cup competitions across the continent and we’ve scanned through the fixture list to see where the best BTTS bets can be found.
Tuesday 15th December 2015
- Queens Park Rangers v Brighton (Evens with Sky Bet) – Despite being top of the league, Brighton don’t have the best of defensive record having conceded in eight of their last 10 league games. Yet whilst they might concede against Rangers they should have no trouble in scoring against a side who have only won one of their last eight.
- Fulham v Ipswich Town (1/2 with BetVictor) – Both of these sides have been involved in their fair share of high scoring games lately and with Fulham’s matches averaging over three goals a game this season, we like the look of BTTS as two attack-minded sides battle it out at Craven Cottage.
- Unterhaching v Bayer Leverkusen (11/10 with Coral) – Fourth tier Unterhaching host Bayer Leverkusen in this DFB Pokal match and we think that there will be goals aplenty. It is a real David against Goliath contest but with the Bavarian outfit at home and with Bayer Leverkusen’s last eight matches seeing both sides score, anything is possible.
- Borussia Monchengladbach v Werder Bremen (8/13 with BetVictor) – This all-Bundesliga clash looks set to have plenty of goals in it with Borussia seeing 22 goals scored in their last four matches. They do like to play fast football and they are comparable in style to Leicester City this season in that they are lightning-quick going forwards, but also dubious at the back.
- Huddersfield Town v Rotherham United (4/5 with Betfair) – David Wagner has said he wants to see his Huddersfield side play like Terriers and as his side gear up to face Neil Redfearn’s Rotherham, there are signs that both sides have adapted well to life under the new manager. Both will be full of confidence as they head into this game and hopefully that translates into goals.
- Charlton Athletic v Bolton Wanderers (5/6 with Betfred) – We’re backing the defensive ineptitude of both sides to lead to goals at The Valley this weekend and with both sides stuck in the mire, this is a really important game. Both sides have scored in three of their last four games and we like the look of BTTS in this one.

- Bourg Peronnas v Marseille (8/11 with Betfred) – This week sees the round of 16 in the Coupe de la Ligue and one of the ties of the round sees Marseille take on Bourg Peronnas. You’d back the Ligue 1 side to get the win, but Perronas have scored in nine of their last 11 matches and they won’t be pushovers at home.
