Statistically speaking, the second legs of ties see more goals than the first and now might well be a good time to get your money on some BTTS tips as semi finals in the Europa League and Champions League are played out.
There is also action from the Premier League and the Football League play-offs and we’ve brought seven great BTTS tips for you spread out over four days of fantastic football.
Monday 11th May
- Swindon Town v Sheffield United (10/11 with Betfred) – Both sides scored in the first leg of this tie and we’d back both teams to hit the back of the net in the second leg with both clubs very attack minded. The Blades can play on the big stage and they have plenty of goals in them but they are sometimes sloppy at the back./li>
- Arsenal v Swansea City (21/20 with Betfair) – Both of these two sides have been scoring regularly in the league recently and with a lot of attacking talent on show on Monday we’d back BTTS for this one. Arsenal have got plenty of attacking talent but they too can suffer from lapses in concentration and Swansea could take advantage of that.
Tuesday 12th May 2015
- Real Madrid v Juventus (10/11 with Betfred) – Real were surprised with the speed and ferocity with which Juve attacked in the first leg and Allegri’s side will be after a goal on Wednesday to make Real’s task a lot harder. That said, Real’s side is stacked with goalscorers and it would be unusual for Ancelotti’s men not to find the back of the net.
Wednesday 14th May
- Bayern Munich v FC Barcelona (4/7 with Sky Bet) – Bayern were well beaten after the first leg yet although they failed to score they certainly had chances. In front of their own fans they will be looking to provide a reaction and their hopes of finding the back of the net will be boosted by having a fully fit Robert Lewandowski. However, we can’t see Pep Guardiola’s side keeping Luis Suarez, Neymar and Lionel Messi quiet for an entire match with one of those three almost certain to find the back of the net.
Thursday 14th May
- Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk v Napoli (10/11 with Betfred) – Dnipro, having salvaged a late draw in the first leg, will be confident of reaching the final after Thursday’s tie. The Ukrainian outfit have scored regularly at home during this European campaign and they will pose a serious goal threat once again on Thursday. However, Rafa Benitez’s side have a lot of attacking talent and we can’t see Dnipro keeping a clean sheet.
- Fiorentina v Sevilla (4/6 with BetVictor) – Fiorentina are another side who save their best performances for Europe and although they were beaten comfortably away at Sevilla they have racked up some big scores already in this competition and in Mario Gomez they possess a top class striker. As for Sevilla, we’d expect them to score if they create the same number of chances as they did in the first leg and BTTS looks very solid here.
