The Champions League is back and the highlight of this second batch of group phase matches is PSG v Barcelona. More importantly though, we feel there are loads of great opportunities here to get on board the BTTS gravy train and make some serious profits from games where we expect to see plenty of top attacking football and goals galore.

Tuesday 30th September 2014
- CSKA Moscow v Bayern Munich (21/20 with BetVictor) – CSKA were thumped 5-1 at Roma last time out but at home they are a different proposition and odds of above evens have to be taken here for BTTS. Munich have drawn both their domestic games to date and the Muscovites will feel they can take something from this one.
- Man City v Roma (8/11 with Ladbrokes) – City have a wealth of attacking talent and whilst they haven’t fired yet they are big favourites here. It will be tough though, against a Roma outfit that has won five from five this term, scoring freely in the process.
- PSG v Barcelona (7/10 with BetVictor) – The glamour tie of the round and one which could decide who tops Group F. Betting on BTTS looks a good shout here at solid odds as both sides will be going for the win and have fine options in attacking positions.
- Sporting Lisbon v Chelsea (19/20 with Ladbrokes) – Chelsea have been in fine form in the league, where they have looked rampant, but their newly discovered flair football has left them more open at the back and backing both to score appeals here at big odds.
Wednesday 1st October 2014
- Arsenal v Galatasaray (17/20 with Ladbrokes) – Arsenal are yet to hit top gear this term and lost 2-0 to Dortmund last time out in the Champions League. They will do better here but with defensive injuries making them look vulnerable at the back, we like BTTS at 17/20. The Gunners have looked shaky defensively all season, conceding in four of their five Premier League games and we think they will concede at least one here.
- Basel v Liverpool (8/13 with BetVictor) – 8/13 for BTTS here may look short but we’re happy to take it at that price given the fluid football both sides are capable of, not to mention their previous group results and head to head games. Liverpool scraped to a 2-1 home win over Ludogorets last time out whilst the Swiss went down 5-1 at Real Madrid and neither side convince at the back, making both to score look a highly likely outcome from this one.
- Ludogorets Razgrad v Real Madrid (19/20 with Coral) – Given the David versus Goliath nature of this clash some may have expected greater odds for BTTS but the simple fact is that Madrid rarely keep a clean sheet and whilst they may record a big win they are highly likely to concede too. Moreover, the Bulgarians are no mugs, as they showed when playing superbly at Anfield.
