With the Premier League season drawing to a close, there is still plenty of action to be had at both the bottom and top of the table.
Lots of this weekend’s fixtures have the potential to be high scoring games and we bring you seven great BTTS tips from the Premier League, Championship and the continent.
Saturday 2nd May 2015
- Leicester City v Newcastle (4/5 with Ladbrokes) – There is little to suggest that Newcastle can halt Leicester’s good run of form, however, they may well score against the Foxes with influential striker Siem de Jong back after a long term injury. At the back though, John Carver’s side are weak and you can expect goals at the King Power Stadium.
- Aston Villa v Everton (5/6 with Bet365) – Everton have been on an excellent run of form lately and having put three past Manchester United last weekend, they should be able to find the back of the net against a Villa side who have only one clean sheet in their last five games. Tim Sherwood’s men have renewed fight in their bellies, thoug,h, and we can see them getting at least one in reply.
- Swansea City v Stoke City (Evens with Betfred) – Both of these sides have scored plenty of late and with them being so close in the table, this could be a really intriguing game. Both sides have scored in the last four meetings between these two and we wouldn’t bet against it happening again here.
- Manchester United v West Bromwich Albion (6/5 with BetVictor) – United’s 3-0 defeat at the hands of Everton showed that Louis van Gaal’s side are from being the finished article and West Brom have more than enough about them to trouble United. However, the Red Devils will come out fighting after being embarrassed last week and with all their talent, they should be able to get the win, but BTTS is the call here.
- Sevilla v Real Madrid (8/15 with BetVictor) – Sevilla have been on a good run and have scored in each of their last 12 competitive matches including a 2-2 draw against Barcelona. Four out of the last five meetings between these two have seen both teams score and with Real conceding in their last two league games, BTTS looks likely in Andalusia.
- Watford v Sheffield Wednesday (11/10 with BetVictor) – Watford will be looking to clinch the title with a win at Vicarage Road, however, that may be easier said than done as they come up against a Wednesday side who have a good record against the top teams. Stuart Gray’s side have scored in their last four matches and they won this fixture last season so it could well be a tight match, but we’re confident both sides will score.

- Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City (4/7 with Ladbrokes) – Only one game out of the last seven between these two has seen a clean sheet and this game regularly produces scores like 4-1 and 5-1. City still aren’t solid at the back, but neither are Spurs and this game has got plenty of goals in it.
