This week sees the return of European football to our living rooms as teams from across the continent lock horns as they aim to get into the knockout stages of the world’s premier club knockout competition.
One of the games looking good on paper is Roma’s trip to the Nou Camp and that is just one of our seven top BTTS tips.
Tuesday 24th November 2015
- Barcelona v Roma (4/6 with Sky Bet) – Barca and Roma played out an entertaining 1-1 draw earlier in the group stage and we like the look of BTTS in this match. Roma saw 13 goals scored across their last two matches in the Champions League and this should be a very entertaining game of football.
- BATE Borisov v Bayer Leverkusen (5/6 with Bet365) – BATE have already beaten Roma in the Champions League at home this season and they found the back of the net when they played Leverkusen in Germany and they have the potential to cause another upset on Tuesday. They are yet to keep a clean sheet in Europe but they can be dangerous on the break.
- Zenit St. Petersburg v Valencia (5/6 with Betfair) Zenit and Valencia played out a hugely entertaining game in the opening round of fixtures with the Russians winning 3-2. Zenit have seen both sides score in three of their four matches this season and they go into the match as favourites, although we can’t see them getting their second clean sheet on the board
- Lyon v Gent (5/6 with Bet365) – The Belgian outfit were expected to be the whipping boys of this group but they have performed well in their matches so far and with Lyon losing their last two games in Europe they have every chance of finding the back of the net when the two sides meet. However, we can’t see them keeping a clean sheet against a Lyon side who have won three league games on the bounce.
- Porto v Dynamo Kiev (6/5 with Betfair) – Porto and Dynamo Kiev drew 2-2 when they met in the Ukrainian capital and with plenty of quality attackers taking to the field we reckon that they’ll be goals for both sides in this one. Both Porto and Dynamo saw both sides score in their last group match and we like the look of BTTS again in this one.

- Astana v Benfica (6/5 with Betfair) – Astana and Benfica are separated by 6100 km and the Portuguese side won’t be looking forward to this trip to freezing Kazakhstan. The minnows are unbeaten at home and whilst we fancy Benfica to score we reckon Astana will cause them a few problems.
- Juventus v Manchester City (5/6 with Betfair) – Juve were the winners the last time these two sides met and whilst this game could go either way, we think that both sides will end up scoring again, with City conceding in all of their Champions League games so far.
