This weekend sees action in the FA Cup as well as yet more matches in the Premier League and Championship, with plenty still to be decided at both ends of the table in both divisions.
There are also a lot of games on TV this weekend so to prepare you for a weekend sat in front of the box doing nothing but watch football, we’ve brought you our seven BTTS tips from the FA Cup, Premier League and Championship for the weekend ahead.
Saturday 23rd April 2016
- Derby County v Sheffield Wednesday (4/5 with Bet365) – The Championship’s televised game sees these two historic sides go head to head and with all of the jockeying in the play-off spots it is an important game. Both sides have seen few clean sheets lately and we like the look of BTTS in this one.
- Manchester City v Stoke City (evens with Bet365) – Manchester City will have one eye on their European semi-final clash and they may well rotate a number of players for this match against Stoke. This may well mean that both sides will get a number of chances and we think there will be plenty of goals between two attacking outfits.
- Bournemouth v Chelsea (8/11 with BetVictor) – Chelsea have been conceding a number of goals lately and we think that their defence will be breached this weekend as they travel to Bournemouth. The home side have scored quite a lot of goals lately and we think that this one will be a high scoring game with BTTS assured.
- Hull City v Leeds United (11/8 with Coral) – Leeds have picked up of late since the return of Chris Wood and they have been scoring plenty of goals. However, they are still poor at the back and we think that this will be an exciting Yorkshire derby.
- Liverpool v Newcastle United (8/11 with Ladbrokes) – Newcastle have scored in seven of their last 10 league matches and we think that they will be able to score against a Liverpool side which will feature a number of fringe players. However, the Magpies have been poor at the back all season and we can’t see them keeping a clean sheet at Anfield.
- Everton v Manchester United (5/6 with Sky Bet) – On paper, this looks to be the more entertaining of the FA Cup clashes as Manchester United and Everton descend on London. Everton have been good value for BTTS this season given their poor defensive record and we can’t see either keeper keeping a clean sheet in this one.
Sunday 24th April 2016
- Sunderland v Arsenal (8/11 with Ladbrokes) – Our one Sunday tip sees Sunderland take on Arsenal at the Stadium of Light and this one should be an entertaining clash. Arsenal need the points to stay in the top four, whilst Sunderland will climb out of the relegation zone with a win and we like the look of BTTS in this clash.
