A few weeks ago it looked as though Manchester City were almost guaranteed Champions League football next season and that Leicester were dead certs for relegation. However, with City well on the slide and the Foxes picking up back to back wins there could well be some upsets this weekend and both feature in our BTTS tips.
Friday 17th April 2015
- Norwich City v Middlesbrough (3/4 with BetVictor) – We start however, with action from the Championship where both Norwich and Boro are chasing automatic promotion. This game has all the hallmarks of a cracker and with both sides in fine form in front of goal, making the 3/4 with BetVictor for both teams to find the net look a great price.
Saturday 18th April 2015
- Crystal Palace v West Bromwich Albion (evens with BetVictor) – The Eagles have been free scoring of late but they have also struggled to keep clean sheets and we’d back the Baggies to get on the scoresheet at Selhurst Park. However, Tony Pulis’s side have also been poor at the back and there could be plenty of goals in this one.
- Leicester City v Swansea City (4/5 with Ladbrokes) – The Foxes’ defence is about as leaky as they come and Swansea fans will be confident of seeing their side score in the East Midlands. However, with a 3-2 win over West Brom last week, Leicester will be high on confidence and they have looked good going forwards lately.
- Everton v Burnley (4/5 with Ladbrokes) – Everton have picked up in form lately and they will be confident that they can hit the back of the net against a Burnley side who aren’t the best at the back. For their part, Burnley are scrapping for every point and that may well spur them on in what is a winnable match for them.
- Chelsea v Manchester United (17/20 with BetVictor) – United have been flying of late and their attacking play has been particularly impressive, scoring seven in their last two. However, they still aren’t the best at the back and this game looks as though it has goals in it.

- Aston Villa v Liverpool (37/40 with BetVictor) – The second of the FA Cup semi-finals sees Liverpool travel to Wembley to face a Villa side who have been impressive in front of goal lately, down in no small part to the form of Christian Benteke. However, they are frail at the back and Liverpool’s wealth of attacking options should mean that there are plenty of goals in this match as two of the Cup’s most successful teams battle it out to reach the final.
- Manchester City v West Ham (evens with Betfair) – City’s recent poor form has seen them lose to the likes of Burnley and Crystal Palace and that will certainly give West Ham hope that they can get in behind the City defence. However, the Hammers will have a hard job keeping Sergio Aguero quiet and he looks in lethal form.
